nSight Promotes Two Members of Management Team
Tom LeBlanc Promoted to Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer; Dana Wilson Promoted to Vice President, Project Management and Consulting
CAMBRIDGE, MA—March 6, 2001—nSight, Inc., a recognized leader in print and interactive communications offering a unique combination of consulting, training, staffing, and project management services, announced today the promotion of Tom LeBlanc to executive vice president/chief operating officer, and Dana Wilson to vice president, project management and consulting. The promotions, which are effective immediately, are in recognition of their contributions to the continued growth and success of the company.
"I am very fortunate to have both Tom and Dana as part of our management team," says Nan Fritz, founder and president of nSight. "They have demonstrated true leadership, are experts in their respective fields, and are excellent role models for all of our employees. Each has contributed greatly to the growth and success of nSight, and their promotions are well deserved."
As a result of LeBlanc's promotion, Nan Fritz—in her role as president—will move away from the day-to-day operations of the company and concentrate on new business development, long-range planning, and strategic partnerships, as well as continue her very active and visible role in the industry advocating standards and the effective use of language in communications.
Tom LeBlanc, Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer
Tom LeBlanc joined nSight in November 1997 as vice president of business operations, responsible for all business operations of the firm, including implementing growth strategy, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring profitable operations. He's also responsible for design, delivery, and quality of all client services. LeBlanc spearheaded the establishment of three separate business units for nSight—Staffing, Training, and Project Management/Consulting—and the hiring of industry experts to build, direct, and grow each department. The change, which significantly improved operational efficiencies, has resulted in five consecutive quarters of growth and profitability. He's currently leading the charge of several Web-based initiatives.
His background includes 18 years of general management, operations, and finance experience at companies in the high-tech industry including Millipore (NYSE: MIL), Unisys (NYSE: UIS), and Digital Equipment Corporation/Compaq (NYSE: CPQ). LeBlanc has a BA degree from Providence College and earned an MBA from Northeastern University.
Dana Wilson, Vice President, Project Management and Consulting
Dana Wilson joined nSight in July 1999 as director of project management, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all business operations within the Projects group. The group—which consists of a strong mix of editorial professionals, print and interactive designers, Web programmers and developers, production specialists, and project managers—can manage and create all or part of any print or interactive project, from original concept to final production. Since Wilson's arrival revenue from nSight's Projects group has nearly doubled. She was the driving force behind nSight's strategic decision in 1999 to broaden its offering to include consulting services, which she oversees and which has also seen a steady rise in revenue. Her background includes 18 years of editorial and project management at publishing companies Aspen Publishers and Little, Brown and Company. She has a BA in English from UMass-Amherst and a JD from Western New England College of Law.
