About AIDS Walk Boston
AIDS Walk Boston supports the work of the AIDS Action Committee (AAC) and numerous other community-based organizations providing services, education and advocacy to those affected by HIV and AIDS. Because 40,000 Americans still become infected with HIV each year, AIDS Walk Boston encourages you to take a step to end the epidemic by walking as part of a team or as an individual in AIDS Walk 2001. Last year over 12,000 walkers helped raise two million dollars for this great cause. The theme among the 2001 AIDS Walk Boston grant recipients is the prevention of HIV.
