nSight Announces Publishing Services Division
Offers Full-Service Capabilities to Publishing Industry
BURLINGTON, MAApril 07, 2003nSight, Inc., a leading print and interactive communications firm, today announced the formation of nSight Publishing Services (NPS), a new division that will focus exclusively on serving publishers.
Dana Wilson, Vice President of nSight and formerly with Little Brown and Aspen Publishers, will manage the new division.
nSight Publishing Services will offer publishers a full menu of publishing services, from consulting to editorial development through production. nSight has served the publishing industry since the company was founded 21 years ago, providing a wide variety of services, including authoring, editing, design and illustration, proofreading, production, and project management for printed books and multimedia companion products, such as Web sites, e-learning courses, and CD-ROMs. Expanded services will include keyboarding, data conversion, and programming.
"Everyone wants quality work, delivered on time, and at a reasonable price, but common business wisdom is that your vendor will be able to provide only two out of the three," Wilson said. "nSight Publishing Services is designed to provide all three."
Publishers served by nSight include, among others, Microsoft Press, Pearson Education (including Prentice Hall, Addison Wesley Longman, and Allyn & Bacon), Thomson Learning (including Delmar, Course Technology, and Heinle and Heinle), Christian Science Publishing Society, Grolier Incorporated, Harvard Business School Publishing, Houghton Mifflin, McGraw-Hill, and Time-Life Books.
"The creation of the new Publishing Services Division is consistent with our strategy of creating separate business units within nSight that each function autonomously as needed, while also working together to serve the client's needs," said President and CEO Thomas E. LeBlanc. "This allows us to provide more specialized, customer-focused service."
