nSight Becomes Certified Provider Member of IACET
Allows Company to Provide Sought-After CEUs for Continuing Education
BURLINGTON, MAMay 28, 2002nSight, Inc., a leading print and interactive communications firm and a provider of corporate training services, announced today that the company has been named a Certified Provider member of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
Because of this certification, nSight can now offer continuing education credits (CEUs) to students who successfully complete the company's training workshops. This is a key benefit not only for nSight but also for students of the company's programs, as many professional organizations require their members to attend workshops and seminars-training that is measured by the number of CEUs they obtain annually.
The Certified Provider designation was the result of a comprehensive four-month review of nSight's training programs based on a number of administrative, programmatic, and evaluative criteria. Strict adherence to standards of needs identification, program content, reporting, and awarding CEUs—among other factors—is critical. A key component of the review process is the on-site visit by an IACET staff member to verify these standards.
"We are extremely proud of our new Certified Provider status," said Nan Fritz, president and founder of nSight. "It provides a level of confidence and trust for our clients that the quality of our programs has been verified by an international organization focused on promoting quality training."
"This is a distinction that few companies in our industry receive, and we're excited to be able to offer it as yet another differentiator to our clients."
This new certification status will be initiated with the company's summer workshop offerings. The courses are offered in four categories: Technical Communications, Writing & Editing, Web & Print Publishing, and Marketing. Following is a listing of the courses available:
