Creating a Web Writing Style Guide

This workshop provides an overview of good web writing and editing practices and the tools you'll need to help your organization use them effectively. The day includes a review of usability research and guidelines covering content development, readability, and use of visual images. Participants will discuss their organization's learning style and particular communications needs. At the end of the day, each participant will draft a plan to implement a Web Writing Style Guide designed to maximize the effectiveness of his or her organization's web site.

Intended Audience
This workshop is designed for communications professionals, web managers, online writers and editors, and those interested in creating effective and consistent Web sites.

This class is taught on PCs. All participants should have a working knowledge of MS Windows prior to attending class.
