In addition, students will gain hands-on experience in the editing of general biotechnical materials through in-class exercises. The final project involves the editing of an actual medical research manuscript.

Intended Audience
This workshop is designed for those who want an introduction to the rapidly expanding biotech/medical editing field. It will be helpful for editors who are hoping to break in to this sector, as well as for writers and academics who work with biotech/medical documents on a regular basis.
