This program is for experienced writers who want to improve their writing by strengthening their self-editing skills. Through editing exercises and peer interaction, this workshop will teach you to view your writing objectively and identify what can be improved. You'll learn to think about your purpose, message, audience, and voice. You'll learn to revise your style and tone, eliminate wordiness and jargon, use transitions effectively, and correct grammatical errors. You'll develop concrete editorial strategies that you can apply to the daily writing of memos, reports, and proposals.
