This workshop helps writers and editors shift their skills to the Web. Whether you're working on existing materials or developing new content, the Web has many unique requirements. Through this workshop you will understand what comprises a good Web site, learn guidelines for successful content, create and edit your material for your many Web audiences, test usability, and transform legacy text. You will gain skills that build competence and confidence, and leave with valuable reference and Web resources that help you keep up with this changing medium.
Intended Audience
This workshop is for practicing communications professionalswriters, editors, project managers, Web specialistswho are or will be working on content for Web sites or converting print content to the Web.
This class is taught on PCs. All participants should have a working knowledge of MS Windows prior to attending class.
