nSight Staffing Method and Process
Qualified Talent Is Just a Phone Call Away
At nSight, we recruit, interview, test, and evaluate communications professionals—so you don’t have to. For 29 years, we’ve been recruiting and placing skilled writers, editors, designers, and other communicators to produce information products and learning materials for quality-conscious clients in specialized fields.
When you initially contact nSight, one of our experienced staffing specialists will discuss your specific needs and job requirements.
For a quick-turnaround assignment, we’ll probably recommend a qualified person on the spot—our recruiters have a cadre of talented professionals who are available on short notice.
For a longer-term contract placement or a permanent position, our staffing specialist will comb through nSight’s extensive database of communications and learning professionals and send you a pre-screened candidate to interview.
You’re assured that the candidate is qualified because nSight has done all of the time-consuming advance work for you. We recruit only seasoned talent—we seek the best people, with the best backgrounds and the best references. We conduct preliminary phone and in-person interviews, review work samples, assess their skills, test their proficiency, and check their references.
Personalized service is a hallmark of our business, and, except under the rarest of circumstances, you will deal with the same nSight staffing specialist from your initial call through the end of the assignment. We don’t file you away to be pulled up on a computer screen by whoever’s available the next time you call. In fact, when you call back with a new request, we’ll get you to that same specialist who already knows your business and your needs.
Preparation Speeds the Process
If you’re calling about an immediate placement, please be prepared to tell us the nature of the assignment, how quickly you need the placement, approximately how many hours or days you expect the assignment to take, and whether you want the person on your premises or in a “virtual” capacity.
For a longer-term placement, we’ll ask you about the assignment’s scope, start date, anticipated duration, number of people, and specific skills you require. For a permanent position, please be prepared to provide a job title and description, location, salary range, benefits, and other pertinent information. Being prepared with this information on your initial call will enable us to begin servicing you immediately.
What If You’re Not Satisfied?
Once your chosen candidate arrives for work, if you find s/he is not a good match, you simply call us. You’re not charged for that time, and we send you someone else. That’s nSight’s guarantee.
